Warranty

WARRANTY

For the period starting from the date of commissioning or 6 months from the date of despatch, the standard warranty period of 24 months for parts and labour only. The Hisa Air Source Heat Pumps (products) or the installers appointed Hisa approved Service Company shall receive Hisa Engineering’s standard warranty on the product installed, subject to the following provisos set out below.

That the product has been paid for in full and the title has passed from Hisa.

That the product has been installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and has been installed by an approved Hisa installer/partner.

The warranty only applies to parts and components within the Hisa product range and therefore doesn’t include any pipework, connections or other ancillary equipment connected to the product.

Hisa reserve the right to inspect the product, at the premises, before the commencement of any warranty work.
The 24 month warranty covers parts and labour in relation to the manufactured parts that have become defective due to faulty design, material or workmanship.

  1. ACTIVIATION OF WARRANTY

The installer is required to commission the Product. Following the link below, the product must be registered within three months of Hisa Heat Pump being commissioned and a copy of the commissioning report must be sent to Hisa to activate the warranty. If this is not done, the warranty will be voided, and the product will only be covered one year parts only

 

The warranty commences from the date of commissioning or 6 months from the date of despatch, which date occurs first.

Once the warranty is activated an official warranty certificate will be issued.

  1. MAINTENANCE

The product must be maintained in accordance with the Product manufacturers instructions as described in the installation and servicing manuals provided with the product.

Upon Annual Service all service records must clearly state that fluids and filters were checked & replaced/topped up or cleaned as appropriate. Failure to provide this as a bare minimum on service records WILL Negate your warranty.

If as part of the Warranty claim Hisa Engineering request the original design detail (e.g. Desktop modelling print off for MCS) this has to be provided as offers reassurance against under or oversized heat pump.

This warranty has to be activated and is subject to the commissioning report being returned to Hisa Engineering within 30 days from completion of the commissioning of the product.

  1. HOW TO CLAIM

When it is determined that there is a fault with the product then the installer/maintenance company should contact Hisa Engineering on your behalf and request assistance in rectifying the fault.

  1. DISCLAIMER

Hisa Engineering without limitation shall not be liable for any consequential, direct, indirect or special loss or damage, costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever, which arise out of or in connection with the supply of the goods or their use.
In no event will Hisa Engineering be liable in this warranty for any of the following costs or repairs:

  • Incorrect selection of the product
  • Incorrect Installation of the product
  • Lack of adequate maintenance
  • Unauthorised modifications
  • Force majeure inc. weather/storm damage
  1. LIMITATIONS

This warranty cannot be transferred other than from an installer to a Hisa Engineering approved service company.

This warranty statement does not affect the statutory rights of the End User.

Hisa Engineering Extended Installer Warranty Terms

  1. WARRANTY

For a period starting from the end of the standard warranty period of 24 months and extending for a further 60 months parts only from this date (total warranty not exceeding 84 months) the installer of the Hisa Air Source Heat Pumps or the installers appointed Hisa Engineering approved service company shall receive Hisa Engineering’s extended parts warranty on the product installed, subject to the following provisos set out below:

That the product has been paid for in full and the title has passed from Hisa Engineering.

That the product has been installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and has been installed by an approved Hisa Engineering installer/partner.

The warranty only applies to parts and components within the Hisa Engineering product range and therefore doesn’t include any pipework, connections or other ancillary equipment connected to the product.

Hisa Heat Pumps will be subject to the extended warranty if installed with 3rd party Cylinders and Buffers only supplied by Hisa Engineering. If any main part is sourced elsewhere the system will only be subject to the 2 year warranty.

Hisa Engineering reserve the right to inspect the product, at the premises, before the commencement of any warranty work.

The 24 month warranty covers parts and labour only, the subsequent 60 months warranty covers parts only in relation to the manufactured parts that have become defective due to faulty design, material or workmanship. The warranty does not cover the labour incurred.

Any work carried out on the Product and parts replaced shall not be provided with an extended warranty.

This extended warranty covers parts only subject to the faulty parts being returned to Hisa Engineering for evaluation within 30 days of replacement parts received?

This warranty cannot be transferred other than from an installer to a Hisa Engineer approved service company.

This warranty is only valid providing the product has been properly maintained and serviced annually and all service records emailed to technical@hisauk.com
