For Installers

For Installers

At Hisa Engineering Ltd our mission is to make life easy for installers.

The Hisa Air Source Heatpump has been designed specifically with the installer in mind and to make life as easy as possible. This has been based on many years experience of heatpump installation work.

Most installers of Hisa Air Source Heatpumps are genuinely impressed when they install their first Hisa.

Wide Range Of Outputs

Hisa Air Source heatpumps are available in 6, 8, 12 and 18kw versions – all single phase. They can also be connected in cascade for higher outputs still.

R290 Environmentally Friendly Refrigerant

R290 gives higher flow temperatures than traditional refrigerants and also has ultra low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 3 which makes it an ideal choice.

Controller

The controller is very simple to use,

Commissioning

The heatpump is supplied more or less pre-commissioned and you only have to change a very small number of settings and these will be detailed on our 1 page A4 wiring guide which is specific to each job.

Technical support

Second to none – our technical support team all have experience of heatpump installation work and are available and ready to help you in whatever way you require.

Install Kits

Install kits to suit your job can be included with the heatpump and delivered on the same pallet – this saves you having to work round a list of components and having to buy them from possibly multiple sources. The Install kits contain all the critical parts which relate to the heatpump specifically.

Technical information and Data

Heatpump performance curves & data are available on our website to make it easier for you to size the heatpump and match your heat loss calculations.

Start At Home

At Hisa we have partnered with Nesta and their Start at Home scheme – this scheme is designed to encourage heating and plumbing companies and engineers who have not yet worked with heatpumps to get started. Under this scheme you can install a heatpump at your own home more or less free of charge (via the HES – Scotland or BUS – England grant) – click here for full details. Please contact us if this might be of interest to you or any of your contacts.
